The University of Glasgow’s School of Computing Science has joined Trustable Credit.

Since 1957, when Glasgow became the first university in Scotland to have an electronic computer, they have built a reputation for the excellence of their Computing Science research and our graduates. Today, the School is one of the foremost in the UK, setting itself the highest standards in research, and research-led learning and teaching. Dr. Angelos K. Marnerides is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the School of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow (UofG) and a visiting researcher at the School of Computing and Communications at Lancaster University. Angelos’ research revolves around applied security and resilience for Internet-enabled cyber physical systems. His research philosophy is in designing systems with strong theoretical foundations and in providing practical, data-driven implementations that are deployable in the real world. He joins Trustable Credit as a key part of the standards authoring team, and said:

“Data-driven resilience and security for Internet-enabled cyber-physical infrastructures is essential. My philosophy is in designing algorithms and systems with strong theoretical foundations and in providing practical, data-driven implementations that are deployable in the real world. Hence, my approach brings a data, measurement-driven and systems-oriented perspective to the study of security and resilience challenges. This perspective will be essential to the creation of open and transparent standards for digital devices and their data.”
