National Milk Records (NMR) Group, the plc with five subsidiary businesses, has joined Trustable Credit.
From its formation in 1943, NMR has grown and developed into an integrated service provider working for both farmers and milk buyers as well as an independent source of data from advisors such as vets, farm consultants and breed societies. NMR provides the software and data tools to manage cows’ production, health and fertility, and their products and services deliver the highest quality intelligence and results across the industry to make profitable production possible. The NMR Group today is structured on five subsidiary businesses which reflect the sectors in which they operate: National Milk Records, National Milk Laboratories, Independent Milk Laboratories, and National Livestock Records. Andy Warne, Managing Director, said:
“From our roots in the Milk Marketing Board to our current status as a plc with subsidiaries supplying information to farmers, corporations, industry and government bodies our business depends on the trust that our customers and the industries in which we work have on the quality of our information. Open, transparent and international standards for digital devices and their data measuring carbon sequestration, biodiversity and nature improvements will be important to maintain and build that trust, and we look forward to working with you on the Trustable Credit project.”
